En 1967, el restaurante Modesto abrió sus puertas, fruto del esfuerzo de un emigrante que, tras años de trabajo en Canadá, regresó con el sueño de establecer su propio negocio gastronómico. A lo largo de las décadas, Modesto cambió de manos y en el 2015 se trasladó de local, justo en la acera de enfrente convirtiéndose en un proyecto moderno y totalmente renovado.
Actualmente, Restaurante Modesto mantiene el encantador jardín de una casa, un amplio comedor interior y una acogedora terraza donde nuestros clientes pueden sentirse como en su propia casa. Bienvenidos!

Wir waren ganz spontan 18:40 hier und haben den letzten freien Tisch bekommen. Vielen Dank. Es gab Knoblauch Garnelen, gegrillten Oktopus auf cremigem Püree aus Kartoffeln, etwas Chili u Kürbis, den man nicht heraus geschmeckt hat…und Hähnchen-Cannelloni mit verschiedenen Pestosorten. The service was beyond helpful and sweet. One of the staff recommended a very gorgeous wine, without upselling us - he took the time to consider our plates for dinner and match the wine to our course (instead of selling the most expensive, as most restaurants do).. ! We ended our night with a digestif/shot of local liquor and once we got the bill, we realized they gave it to us on the house. Just a perfect experience to accompany the delicious food. We ordered the Padron peppers, chicken cannelloni, and ravioli with pumpkin sauce… everything was divine. Ravioli (my dish) was very rich and filling and vegetarian friendly, which is a gem amongst the coast. Will 100% come again, even if only for a drink with the lovely staff.

Unfortunately because of that many items are missing if you show il up after 8PM. Also prices are a bit high for the quality and quantity. It’s very atmospheric. The food is excellent and well presented. If you like steak this is where they specialise. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. But you must book. It’s that popular.Verificada Excellent restaurant A lovely little restaurant with lovely tables in the courtyard and some rather warm ones indoors - we had a fan so cooled down after the walk there. Must book. Small menu but great quality and lovely choice of Mallorcan wines. We had a wonderful tomato salad which seemed expensive but honestly was so tasty, steak and sauce - huge and well cooked and hubby had fresh fish from the specials. Delicious. Lemon and basil ice-cream for dessert - so refreshing - and a local dessert wine. Yum. Not one for children - would be a bit wasted on them. We got our children pizza whilst we dined here! Staff friendly and knowledgable and only limited menu ensures you are getting fresh local produce. Had fish one night and then iberico steaks, which were superb. Off the front but not far.
